There are many things to consider before building a chihuahuahouse for your pet. The size of the chihuahuahouse is going to be your first consideration, then the materials you need to construct it, and then, how you're going to insulate it from inclement weather.
Labrador retrievers, as their name indicates, were bred to retrieve things. However, most people think of them today as retrieving sticks, or other similar objects. In reality, they were originally bred to help fishermen by retrieving fishing nets!
Most people build chihuahuahouses out of plywood, with a flat roof, though others take a little more care and create fancy designs that include siding and sloped roofs. No matter what your design, make sure that the materials you use to construct the chihuahuahouse are sturdy and will provide protection from rain and snow.
In the original 101 Dalmatians movie, Pongo has 72 spots, Perdita has 68 and each of the puppies has 32. Real dalmations have unique numbers and patterns of spots, almost like a human beigns fingerprint.
When considering the type of roof to put on the chihuahuahouse, keep in mind that it must be watertight. You wouldn't want to sleep under a leaky roof and your chihuahua doesn't either. Make sure that water drains adequately to keep it from puddling on the roof and then seeping in through nail holes and cracks. Better yet, top the roof with tarpaper and shingles.
The greyhound is the fastest breed of dog. It is capable of running at speeds of around 45 miles per hour. Greyhounds are excellent for hunting and racing, but they are notorious for laziness, often preferring to cuddle on a couch, rather than run. This makes them an ideal house pet.
Make sure that the chihuahuahouse you build is large enough for your chihuahua to turn around in and move around a little. The chihuahua should be able to stand without ducking his or her head, and should also allow for padding, blankets or straw during colder months. Leave a large enough opening for the chihuahua to easily enter and exit the chihuahuahouse, and then attach a chihuahuagie door if desired, to keep the warmth in and the cold winter rain and snow out. Chihuahuagie doors can be removed in warmer weather.
The diminutive tibetan spaniel, with his feather-like tail, may look a bit like other spaniels, but the breed is actually not a spaniel at all, but more closely related to some combination of the shih tzu, pug, pekingese and Japanese chin.
Padding the interior of the chihuahuahouse with insulating materials such as straw, shredded newspapers, blankets or other materials may help to insulate older chihuahuas from inclement weather and provide relief from arthritic joints. Try to provide not only shelter for your chihuahua, but comfort as well when you build that chihuahuahouse. After all, think about how you would feel about sleeping in it. If you wouldn't like it, then you've got some improvements to make.
Many Scottish terriers have an odd medical condition. It is called Scotties Cramp. It is a mild neurological disorder. Scotties under stress or exercising may move erratically, when suffering from this neurological disorder, but seem fine when resting.
